I just got back from San Francisco and as you all know, I love this city.
There are a few reasons why I love it so much.
Number one is most probably because it is a walking city. There are a lot of good restaurants and there was so far zero where I did not get good food; this is probably number two. There are many more reasons for me to visit this place.
I took some awesome black and white photos because of the fact that it rained quite a bit. Wait – what does black and white has to do with rain?
Indirectly nothing, but there are usually a lot of cool cloud structures that add a lot of drama to the sky!
Lightroom Tipp:
Whenever I create a black and white photo in Adobe Lightroom, I use the following settings to start with:
- Switch to “Black & White” mode
- Decrease “Highlights”
- Increase “Shadows” (both of them quite a bit)- Increase “Whites”
- Decrease “Blacks”
And now, this is important
- Increase “Contrast”
- Decrease “Exposure” slightly
Readjust “Highlights” and “Shadows” to make it feel good.
