I was going to the Valley of Fire in Nevada in February 2018. The temperature was the reason for me to get there during this time of the year – it can get there very hot during the summer.
It took me a while to find a spot where I could take photos of the sunset in the Valley of Fire. Lucky it was a very long sunset, this gave me the opportunity to walk around to take multiple shots from different locations in different angles.
More colors in a photograph needed?
If I picture a sunset or sunrise, often the colors in the sky are too intense. I could desaturate the colors that are too harsh or, what I do in 99 percent of all the cases, I use the “Vibration” slider in the “Presence” section. This is a very smart slider! It equalizes the color saturation. This means it gives colors that are less saturated, more saturation than the ones that are over saturated. The guy that did this algorithm deserves gratuity!
Try to combine the Vibration slider with the Dehaze one – this get you sometimes awesome results!
