I actually wanted to take a photograph of Burj Khalifa but was reminded a lot of time that I was not allowed to take a photograph. This time, it was not a problem about the tripod; security does not like pro cameras there. After about the third reminder I decided to go off the path where all the tourists go and found this location that is not too far from the main entrance to the water show of the Dubai Mall away.
Photography Composition Luck
I wanted to get a symmetrical shot while standing on the “walkway” ot the right in the photograph. There were too many problems:
- Burj Khalifa made it asymmetrical
- There were buses to the left
- There are cranes to the left as well
I walked over to the left from where I was standing to get rid of the cranes. You can still see them behind the trees, but now it is way better than what I have seen before. When standing there, I realized that the buses will disappear as well when I go low enough to take the shot.
In addition, I have a perfect reflection of everything and leading lines that help focusing towards the main attraction in the photograph.
