I was lucky with the weather the weekend I visited “The Valley of Fire” in Nevada – no rain for once! This national park is about one hour driving from Las Vegas where I stayed.
This is landscape I have never seen before – I was driving into the park and stopped almost every minute.
The park is open from sunrise to sunset and my issue is that I want to take photos during the ambient light right after sunset. Sunrise was at 5pm and I was getting around 4pm to the park. I thought I only had a little more than one hour to take photos. Fortunately they where not that strict.
It is the second time I was going to this national park. The first time I was getting there about 15 years ago, and it was July. Extremely hot!!!
This time, I was visiting in February, so the “Fire” felt really cold.
