My friend runs a food blog and she was asking me to take photographs of the food I eat while travelling in Indonesia.
Every time I eat something I grabbed my camera and took a few photos of my food. People started staring at me if I was a fool – maybe I am…
How did I take photographs of my food?
I never used artificial light like my flash to take photographs of my food. I moved the food close to the sun by the window.
I zoomed in as much as I could with my lens, in my case it was 70mm and I opened up my aperture as much as possible – F4.0 in this case.
All the rest is perspective. Try to rotate the camera by 45 degrees with an angle towards the food of about the same.
