And here is the next city of my big US adventure “From New York to San Francisco”. Of course this city by the lake is named Chicago. I was talking to a lot of other photographers in Chicago and one of them told me that one of the nicknames of Chicago was “City by the lake”.

This was another beautiful city on my trip to take pictures. It is not my first time in Chicago, but the first time to walk around with people doing a photoTour.

What I often do, is walking around until I find something very interesting. Then I circle around the scene to make it even more interesting; I also move my head up and down to see if it makes a difference to the photo I want to take.

To me, the eyes are the camera and the brain is the computer. In my brain, I store all the beautiful memories from the past. It is like back in my digital dark room, I also only store the beautiful photographs in a separate part of my hard drive to find them easy and remember all the beautiful places I have been!
