As you may know, I am writing a book about all my travels. My book is about to get finished; I am working on my last chapter from Iceland. I took two trips to Iceland. One in May and one in October – unfortunately, I couldn’t shoot the northern lights… If you want stunning photos of the Aurora Borealis, it’s not here 😉
I like the photo of this horse so much, because of the story behind. We stopped the car to make photos of a bunch of horses. They all came by and sort of started modeling for us…
Iceland has so many other things to offer too! All waterfalls and the beautiful landscape make Iceland worse a trip! Even as a beginner, I guarantee you to make stunning photos. On the first trip I got to Iceland, I made it once around the island. And this within one week. This was a little tight I have to admit, but I saw what I needed to, to know where to go when coming back!
Retouching Tip:
I always focus on the eye(s) if I take photos of people or animals. I also retouch almost only the eyes to bring out some details when taking portrait photos.
