This year I made my first (but not only) trip to Japan and one of the most incredible things I have seen there was the Shibuya Crossing!
I have arrived there on a Friday during rush hour. It was amazing to cross the intersection with my suitcases…
After checking in the hotel, I was going back to the intersection to just watch the people there – I cannot describe here on my blog what I have experienced, it is a thing that you must see by yourself! I read somewhere on the web that there are 3600 people in AVERAGE are crossing the intersection per green light!
Look at the photograph, there are not that many people anymore. I took this one close to midnight.
Photography Tip:
I took this photograph from behind a window that was not that clean. If you run into such a situation, get the lens as close to the window as you can. Also, open-up the F-Stop as much as you can (lowest number) and focus to the distance. This reduces the dirt to be seen on the photographs!
