Biography

My unique name, Beat Dietsch, can be confusing for those working with me outside of Switzerland, as my first name “Beat” is only found in Switzerland.

As a travel photographer, I strive to capture beautiful photographs everywhere I go. My journey began in Iceland with the introduction to digital photography and HDR techniques. I have since refined my skills and mainly use Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Photomatix Pro to enhance my digital artworks.

My style is unique and often reflects the location where I was shooting. I am more than just a photographer as I am also a digital artist with a flair of the creation of realistic photographs using software based on a photo.

On my blog, I provide free photography tips, share short stories behind my photos, and offer educational videos on retouching. I also host photography workshops, exhibit my work, and give presentations on my digital art.

Below, you’ll find some of my favorite photographs that I’ve taken from all around the world. While I bring home thousands of photos from each trip, only a selected few are truly stunning. Enjoy!
