This is a very small (obviously) funicular that brought people up some stairs. This was a very cool tourist attraction. I was standing there just waiting for the little car to come by. The problem was that there was a bunch of other photographers that did the same. I was standing there for about 45 minutes to get what I finally wanted – this photo of the probably shortest ride of public transportation in Lisbon.
Other than this, Lisbon has a very good tram system. People queued to ride tram number 28. Don’t ask me why… I also read this in one of the books I ordered before my travels. I don’t see the difference in riding another number than 28. However, the public transportation in Lisbon is good and brought me everywhere. I took the subway from the airport to the city, and it was easy to understand. If you want more information, just follow this link.
Photography Tip:
Practice every day! I had some trouble to find the right angle to stay since in this photo, I was not the only photographer to wait for the funicular. But I saw other people moving and according to this, I repositioned myself to have no other people than the ones on the train in my photograph.
