I flew the quadcopter a couple of time while I was in Taipei last time. Before I fly I act like a 3 year old kid because I am always super excited about what I am about to see. The Quadcopter gets me (actually my camera) to perspectives that I cannot get to with my “real camera”.
Recently I bought the Mavic 2 with the Hasselblad lens – it is an awesome device! Now I am able to control the aperture, the shutter speed and the ISO. This is kind of cool because now I can set up the quadcopter the same way as I set up my camera.
Do you have a problem updating your Mavic?
Before I went on my trip, I tried to update the Mavic over the cell phone – it was brand new. I failed to do so and thought it was because the server was not reachable. So I waited and tried the next day. I still was not successful…
The solution is called “DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic”. I downloaded the software and updated my Mavic over my computer.
There are tons of YouTube-Tutorials that shows you how to do so. There is one thing: do not do the same mistake I did, update the Remote control too.
Now everything is back to what it was before with the old Mavic. Meaning I can now update the firmware over the cell phone. It was just that one time shot that I had to do…
