To find different perspectives, I circle around the object I want to picture. Here I was moving towards the Empire State Building till I had an equivalent gap to the two nearby houses. Then I walked towards the building till the antenna had the same height as the building to the left.
In this photograph I did not enable profile corrections and aspect ratio. I like the way the buildings look like, the way they lean in from the outside of the photograph.
I also look for some leading lines all the times. Those lines drag the eye towards the main attraction in the photograph. Especially in big cities, the streets help out a lot. There are many different lines that help to make a better photograph!
