Today two years ago today I went on a trip to beautiful Japan. It was a trip to multiple different countries before I stayed in Japan for two weeks. Japan is absolutely amazing with trillions of opportunities to take photographs. It does not matter whether it is Tokyo, Nara, Osaka, Kyoto or any other place – there are endless location to take nice photos! I took this photograph in Kyoto when staying there for a couple of nights. The shrine of Kyoto is one of the most important ones in Japan (according to what I was told). The trail of the shrine lead into the forest where you can walk to the summit of the mountains and back within 3 hours; or less if you are a fast walker.
I was too lazy to do it, but I was waiting for the perfect time to take the photo I share. I think it was one of the best photos I took during this Japan trip.
My dad died when I was in travelling Japan and I do not know if he ever saw what I have created. I post processed and shared this photo with my dad the day after – when he died. Ironically I was then in Hiroshima…
The light at the end of the tunnel… I whish you good light dad, wherever you are!
