Last time I went to Chicago I ran into a lady that did the same I did. She stood there and took some photos at the bean in the Millennium Park. We teamed up for a nice little walk and took a few photographs together.
She told me about this location at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Look for the “Peoples Gas Education Pavilion – it took me a while to find it!
Post Processing Tipp:
I was on a tripod and took a bracketing series that I did not use when retouching the photograph. I “only” used Adobe Photoshop Lightroom to postprocess the photo. The main issue I had with my photos often was that there was too many colors.
How do I achieve this? I decrease “Vibrance” and “Saturation” do desaturate the whole photo. Then I am going to “Tone Split” and bring back the colors for the Highlights and the Shadows. I often do this with photos I took during the daytime.
