Massively over 90 percent of all the photographs during dusk and after I take on my tripod. My last post (see here Tripod Stories in the US) was very frustrating! On a lot of places, it is forbidden to take photographs on a tripod – and a lot of times, I do not see any reason why I am not allowed to!
Here is post #2 about what happened in the US when talking about story #1.
When I was walking around in Chicago, I saw a subway station elevated from the ground that had an overpass. I went up there and saw, that the photograph I would be able to take could turn out very nice!
So I asked and of course the answer was NO. If you do not ask, then you already have a NO. If you ask, there might be the slight possibility to get a YES. After this, I was a little thirsty and went to a fast food place to grab something to drink. In there, a police officer started talking to me about my camera and general photography and I told him what happened in New York. He did not get it either and told me, if I had something like this here in Chicago… Here is the photo!

Photography Tip:
Stay and wait! Since there are two train tracks in the photograph, I was waiting for two trains to cross each other – I personally think that a photograph with no train / subway in it is better!
