Last time I visited Sweden I took a short drive in the south of the country. I flew into Copenhagen, rented a car and drove over the famous bridge to Malmö. The distance between Sweden and Denmark on the bridge is about 8km (approx. 5 miles). On the way back, I had some issues paying the toll – the license plate recognition did not work but I had a 2D to scan that did not work either. There was a nice lady helping me out and she told me to pay attention while driving on the bridge because of heavy wind.
I have NEVER experienced such strong wind! It was winding so intense, that the truck in front of me could not hold the lane – I just followed the truck all the way over the bridge not passing it.
By the way, I took the photograph in Smögen when it was a little windy too. And it was cold there as well… The idea going to Smögen was to take a nice sunset photo, but the day before I have arrived it just rained. The sunset was really cool; it went from dark to pitch black.
Photography Tip:
This is maybe more a personal quote than photography tip… A few month ago, I was attending a presentation about photography and the presenter said that it is important to know your camera inside out and the automatic mode is a mode to get rid of.
I totally disagree! Of course, you need to know how to find the balance of shutter speed, aperture and ISO. As a beginner, I would say to learn from and with the camera over time. When taking daytime photos, the camera anyway has the same settings as if you would manually set it up.
