This time I invite you to join me on a digital trip through Barcelona. Discover this Spanish metropolis, known for its architectural beauty, rich history, and awesome cuisine.
Barcelona’s old town is a treasure of remarkable sights, super nice architectural buildings such as Antoni Gaudí’s masterpiece and the legendary Basilica of the Sagrada Família. These -inspiring landmarks offer the perfect subjects just waiting to be captured through your lens.
One of the advantages of visiting Barcelona is its pedestrian-friendly nature. The city’s compact size allows you to reach almost every point of interest on foot, providing a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the captivating atmosphere and discover hidden corners with photographic potential.
For those who prefer a more relaxed mode of transportation, Barcelona offers an excellent subway system that efficiently connects various locations throughout the city. On the other hand, using the subway means potentially missing out on the countless photo opportunities that lie along the streets – your decision.
During my road trip from Switzerland to the Costa Brava, I planned in a Trip through Barcelona. I strongly recommend including Barcelona in your travel itinerary as well. While I won’t provide a detailed guide on where to go in this post, I am confident that you will discover Barcelona’s treasures and create your own unforgettable adventure. Happy exploring!
Photography Tip: Limit the Gear!
Whenever you take some photos in a city, just remember that all the equipment you bring, you will also have to carry!
While it may be enticing to pack all your camera bodies and lenses, I highly advise taking a moment to reflect.
I only pack my Nikon Z7 with a 24-70mm lens attached and, depending on the time of the day, my tripod…
If you want to carry more, that’s fine. Since I’m lazy, I try to carry as less as I can – not only photo equipment.
