I love Cuba, it has so much to offer! I do not speak any Spanish at all and if I would not be accompanied by locals, I probably would have been in deep trouble – especially outside of Havana.
The Country itself is extremely nice for taking photos. It offers a lot of landscape, cityscape and has a lot of nice beaches for sunset or sunrise photography.
Photo Tip while taking photos during sunrise or sunset
Usually during a sunset or sunrise there is an extreme bright versus dark situation. When shooting a in such a situation where is no reflection (like the ocean on this photograph) it will be even more extreme.
So, either use Adobe Lightroom later or underexpose the photographs for a better look. When underexposing a photo, the colors become funkier! It adds definition and richness in the colors of all photos. There are many way how to underexpose a photograph, I use the aperture compensation to do it.
