When I think of Paris, I think of love, the Eiffel Tower and Coco Chanel. But Paris has its own charm and enchants everyone…
On my last trip to Paris, I took so many photographs of the Eifel Tower, that it almost looks like I was chasing the Eifel Tower. There are so many nice locations to take photographs. From all those vacations, the Eifel Tower is visible.
The 324 meter high iron tower on the banks of the Seine is THE landmark of Paris. After dark, the Eiffel Tower is illuminated by glittering lamps for 5 minutes every hour. By the way, one of the most known views of the Eiffel Tower is from the “Place du Trocadéro” (Trocadéro metro stop). Through the garden “Jardins du Trocadéro” I walked in a few minutes across the Seine directly under the Eiffel Tower. To get under the Eiffel Tower, you have to go through a security check, which is done quickly.
Photography Tip:
Start shooting in RAW! I know, when taking photographs in RAW, it is essential to post process them. I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to give my photographs a unique look. Some of the photos are in HDR and here I use Photomatix Pro. My Youtube Channel explains some of the techniques I use to enhance the look of my photographs. Enjoy…
