I organized my first PhotoWorkshop in Bern, Switzerland. The idea behind this workshop is take your time and spend a photography weekend.
On the first day, I talked about my camera settings and the way I look at photography respectively art. That is like a 1.5 hour introduction about how and why I take photos like this. Bring your own camera and we will figure out together how to set the camera the way it fits best for you!
After this short introduction to ourselves, the real photo work starts. We spend a few hours together and take photos! Sometimes I stop if I see something interesting and let you know about the idea I have to take the photo. No worries, we are going to stop for some drinks and food during our photo time!

The second day is where all the fun starts. We meet in the digital darkroom to post process the photos taken.
It is all about software on the second day – Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and Photomatix Pro. I talked about different plugins as well like the NIK Collection that is available free for download.

All the picture of me above where taken at Kern AG in Münsingen. Also the Highlights video featuring this post mainly consist of fragments of my presentation about image post processing. For the image post processing we have used Adobe Lightroom, Photomatix Pro and Adobe Photoshop for the final retouching.

This series includes a whole workflow from taking the photo including the camera settings until the final retouched version that comes from Adobe Photoshop.
