I am preparing for another photo workshop in Bern. For this reason, I was walking the city again to find new locations.
I walked from the train station all the way to the bears pit to look for something different. On the way back to the train station, I crossed one of the bridges halfway to have a look. This look is not new, but I was lucky to have the mountains show up so clean!
I like Bern – it is the capital of Switzerland and lies on a loop of the river Aare. The medieval architecture has been preserved in the old town as you can see in the photograph. This part of the city goes also nice with black and white photography, one of the photographs I took made it into my calendar…
Photography Tip:
I get back to the same location many times! And at one point I get what I am looking for. I was aiming to get a nice sunrise photograph – I was walking the city when I had the idea to go look at the bridge where I took this photo…
It is the same with one of the photographs I took in San Francisco – I went back there many times until I had the shot I really like. Even if I liked the first photograph so much, I was able to capture a better one!
