Bern experienced abundant snowfall this December, painting the city in a wintry wonderland with snowy scenes in Bern. Winter visits to Bern almost guarantee a snowy spectacle, especially in December, when snowfall is at its peak.
I haven’t captured many photos of Bern’s snow or my local area. Last year, during heavy snowfall, I missed the opportunity to take both quadcopter footage and regular photographs of some snowy scenes in Bern (you can find the quadcopter footage in my previous post).
Photography Tip: Capturing Snowy Scenes
Photographing in snowy conditions can challenge the camera’s exposure evaluation due to sunlight reflecting off the snow. Adjust the exposure compensation to +1 or make corrections later in Adobe Lightroom.
