During my weekend getaway in Ljubljana, I had an incredible time exploring the city. As soon as I got to the city, my stomach was grumbling, so my first mission was to hunt down some local food. I walked through the streets, exploring the variety of restaurants, but surprisingly, most didn’t serve the kind of authentic Slovenian cuisine I was looking for.
After more than thirty minutes of walking thru the city, I finally came upon a cozy, little shop that sold locally sourced food from nearby farmers.
More than that, they also sold food to eat outside the shop. They had a bunch of different choices and I have decided to go for “Domáca Gazdovská Klobása”, a local sausage that I really liked!
